DESCRIPTION:
Video presence and interviewing skills as writers has become more important with the increased need for the world to connect virtually. Dr. Kat will help authors understand the importance of media interviewing skills and provide tips to help polish and perfect overall delivery and appearance. Utilizing these tips will ensure the final recorded product highlights you as an interesting and professional television/radio show, social media guest, or publication interview subject.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. Kat Smith, DHS, is a survivor, a human behavior expert, Author, TEDx Speaker and international presenter. She is a show host and former co-host of a syndicated morning radio show with ABC Radio Networks, Inc., Dr. Kat is an engaging expert guest who is transparent and honest in sharing her truth and talking about difficult topics. Her presentations are inspiring, transformative and she delivers with wit and humor where appropriate. She has appeared on GMA, Huff Post Live, local GMT, Daybreak, Fox4, CW33 and she produces her recent show, ResilientLivingTV.
The Writers Guild of Texas presents Guest Speaker / Program meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Basement Program Room of the Richardson Public Library AND via Zoom. Visitors are welcome to attend.
