WGT Critique Group

WGT Critique Group

led by Ed Wooten

The Writers Guild of Texas organizes a critique group session on the 2nd Monday of each month. By sharing their work with peers, writers obtain valuable, constructive feedback and, in turn, provide the same to others.

The group normally meets in the Richardson Library; however, the library will be moving in August/September 2026. Meetings will continue, but the location will change. Email us, and we’ll reply with the current meeting location.

–2000 words or fewer of a written work

–All genres are welcome, with a few restrictions.  Materials containing pornographic, extreme violence, or graphic sex, or that convey hate messaging will not be evaluated during WGT Critique Group meetings.

–WGT members receive priority to read and have their works critiqued. All from this wonderful writer community are welcome. But there is a benefit to becoming a paid WGT member.  You can join WGT here www.writersguildtx.org.

–Authors who desire to have their piece critiqued will submit a work of 2000 words or fewer in the form of a WORD document by 11:59 PM on the 1st of each month with a brief description of the work to ewu10@yahoo.com.

–Listeners are welcome.
