"The Realities of Self-Publishing"

with Barbara Wilson

A review of what works and what doesn’t in Self-Publishing. How to produce the best quality product, market your books, and create and maintain an audience.

Barbara Wilson is a published picture book writer and illustrator. Barbara's mission is to help writers maintain their love of the craft – despite the roller coaster involved in being a published author. She is a manager and editor at FreshFiction.com, a major book promotion website. She served as executive director of a small publishing company specializing in picture books and educational materials. Barbara is a personal assistant to Jade Lee/Kathy Lyons, a USA Today bestselling author. She currently lives in Dallas with her two fur babies, Sparky and Daisy. She has a B.A. and M.S. in Speech Communication and is also known as Mother Wilson.

The Writers Guild of Texas presents Guest Speaker / Program meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Basement Program room of the Richardson Public Library. Visitors are welcome to attend.
