Creative Characterization

Jan Morrill will discuss how to create multi-dimensional characters that come alive with quirks, secrets, habits and senses in a way that will keep your readers turning the pages. Through discussion and exercises, she will demonstrate the following techniques:

  • Interviewing Characters

  • Writing Letters

  • Describing a Picture or Painting in Your Character’s Voice

The Writers Guild of Texas presents Guest Speaker / Program meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Basement Program room of the Richardson Public Library. Visitors are welcome to attend.
