“Acquiring an Agent 101”
with PJ Gover
Finding an agent seems impossible and discouragement is common after repeated rejections. What is the secret to acquiring the publishing world’s gatekeeper? We will discuss the importance of agents, the value of conference face-to-face meets versus query letters, preparation and pitching to an agent, what agents look for in prospective clients, and what to expect if a contract is offered. We will unravel the mystery to traditional publishing to push your writing career forward.
NOTE: Due to the Holiday, this meeting is held on the fourth Monday of January.
